Job Description
Join our innovative team and help shape the future of education! We’re looking for a talented Team Lead to drive and lead a small team of developers in building cutting-edge AI-enabled educational experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a transformative project. We are looking to partner with existing edtech vendors integrating with Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI)—experience in LTI is a big plus. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled developers.
- Drive the development and integration of AI-enabled tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a seamless educational experience.
- Lead the integration with LTI internally and across multiple partners.
- Clearly communicate results & outcomes across the company, and work with other technical staff to productionize your work.
- Work alongside a talented team of entrepreneurs, engineers, subject matter experts, and external stakeholders on designing purpose-fit capabilities for our products.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- A strong foundation in mathematics, statistical methods, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Python and R, as well as important frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Strong problem-solving skills across complex data-heavy domains, with a knack for critical and creative thinking.
- Experience with integrating data & reporting with large language models.
- Experience with generating data and embeddings and using vector databases for storage and lookup.
- Experience in early-stage startups (or similarly-structured teams) where you’ve had to wear multiple hats and collaborate closely with multiple teams & disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a penchant for humble leadership.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
